Paddle scans all transactions for signs of fraudulent card use and allocates them with a fraud score. Any transaction over a certain threshold is automatically flagged as potentially fraudulent and manually approved by our fraud teams.
If this is the case for your purchase you will receive an email stating that your purchase needs to be manually approved looking like this:
By all means, send us an email to find out the status of your payment.
Flagged transactions are approved within 3 hours on average and on approval you will be sent an email to confirm that your transaction has/has not been approved. If your transaction is rejected, we will also notify you of this. During the review period, your bank holds the funds before Paddle accepts or rejects them - it may appear on your statement that the funds have been taken from the account but please note that until Paddle accepts the transaction, the money is held safely by your bank.
We are sorry for any inconveniences caused by flagged transactions though we are committed to combatting fraud and this is and for your sake, we do err on the side of caution.
